Van Andel Arena

Van Andel Arena is an entertainment center in Heartside Grand Rapids. It has over 11,000 seats and hosts bull riding, basketball games, and political rallies. They have held concerts for Neil Diamond, Britney Spears, Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga, and many more bands. 

“The Freezer on Fulton” is also the home of the Grand Rapids Griffins hockey team. They are the minor league team of the NHL Detroit Red Wings. There is plenty of parking nearby the stadium. Van Andel Arena always have something exciting happening whether it’s sports or music! 

Grand Rapids Public Library – Main Library

The Grand Rapids Public Library, located in Downtown Grand Rapids and has served its patrons for more than 100 years. It was created in 1871 and moved to its permanent location in 1904. You can enjoy the beauty and grandeur of the historic building in this serene library. 

There are lots of free activities that the Main Library hosts such as Anime Club, film festivals, and author speakers. It was renovated in 2001 to create a central atrium between the two library wings. You can find the Main Library at 111 Library Street NE.
